Hello my name is Warren Simpson, welcome to my music site, mostly dedicated to Delta Blues. This basic form of music has been an inspiration to me all my life, it has, and still does fill me with emotion beyond words.

Being born in Liverpool, England, surrounded by the "Merseybeat" of the 60's has also had its influence. A great deal of that music had early rhythm and blues as its basis, people like Jimmy Reed, Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, Muddy Waters etc. However it is the earlier original blues players that are my main influence. Particularly Robert Johnson and also the soulful Skip James, the driving Son House, the mournful Charley Patten, Sleepy John Estes, Mance Lipscomb, Fred Mc Dowell etc. who are my heroes.
